Refinery is the combination of two talented electronic musicians from Lexington, Kentucky: Mutt, a DJ since 1994, and Tyler, a classically trained instrumentalist since early childhood. Refinery produces a unique style of music with influences ranging from classic Chicago house to Detroit techno.
San Francisco’s Eric Sharp has produced hard-hitting house music garnering plays from the likes of Drop The Lime and Santiago & Bushido. With an upcoming release on Tommy Sunshine’s new label, Brooklyn Fire, Eric’s energy is simply contagious. Eric Sharp also runs the Rock It Science Laboratories imprint with Dubsided’s DJ Fame.

If Moroder was the architect of imaginary techno clubs in space, “Pantytime” would be the soundtrack to his dreams. Dense layers of polyrhythms and throbbing bass weave around a disco soul. “Pantytime” is a perfect transition track for your dancefloor.
Refinery – Pantytime (Eric Sharp Club Dub) – Headset Recordings by Headset Recordings
Eric Sharp’s “Club Dub” was commissioned to generate so much heat that it would dry the sweat from 3AM dancefloors (thus preventing dancefloor injuries). Use this flamethrower to heat up your late night warehouse sets.
Refinery – Pantytime (Eric Sharp Rave Mix) – Headset Recordings by Headset Recordings
Eric Sharp’s “Rave Mix” extracts the disco whistles from “Pantytime” and transmitted them to Heaven. The E.T.’s didn’t dig it but the disco freaks did. This is the remix that the cast from Xanadu danced to at the Paradise Garage.

Trevor Lamont “The original does it for me…gives you that Deep Detroit feel. A very moody track that can be pushed in alot of different directions…. ”
CheckPoint “Three stunning versions of a great track. A real classic, timeless feel to all, exuding quality and a groove that you can’t help but jump up and down to! The Original has a ‘no frills’ qulaity that lets the pounding bass line and wavey melody do all the talking. The Rave mix is all about the horns – bonkers and awesome all at once! And the Club dub just packs serious heat! Full support! Thanks, CheckPoint”
Tony Humphries “Nice track, modern disco tune! Def supporting..”
